Papers concerning residential life include the Birdwood Report, a residential college plan, 1978-1979, by the Student Council Ad-Hoc Committee on Birdwood; some papers of the Task Force on the residential life program, 1980; comprehensive plan for residential life, 1983, prepared by the Committee on Residential Life; a response by the Iner-Fraternity Council to the Comprehensive Plan presented by the Committee on Residential Life student, 1983; and perceptions of residential life at the University of Virginia, a report for the Committee on Residential life, 1982, by the Subcommittee on Improvement of Residential Living. The collection also contains a set of memos and minutes from 1986 pertaining to a reexamination of the residential life and resident staff programs.
